Woodside SW19 is a great place to live, and is a sociable neighbourhood. Our community has formed a residents association – CWARA.

The aims of CWARA, in collaboration with neighbouring communities, our local Hillside Ward Councillors and Merton Council, are to:
- Promote a community amongst Woodside residents through organising social, cultural and educational events (e.g., the annual Woodside Street Party)
- Represent the interests of Woodside residents in respect of the provision of public services and amenities, and issues of concern to the community (e.g., the Hillside Safer Neighbourhood Panel, Merton traffic management initiatives and local development
- Promote such other matters as may be proposed and agreed by the members in the AGM
All residents of Woodside and also adjoining streets are very welcome to join CWARA. There is no membership fee – we aim to fund our activities by making a small surplus on the events we organise. To join, please register on this website. All registrations require approval from the website administrator, but this is a formality just to ensure that applicants live in our area.
By joining CWARA you can stay in touch with issues that affect you, and raise any concerns that you have. We want to build our membership to include as many local people as possible in community discussions. The more people in CWARA, the stronger our voice in championing Woodside.

Registered members will be able to see your name and mobile phone number, and CWARA may invite you to join our community WhatsApp Group, using that number.
